Faculty Development Program on English language

Hyderabad: Department of English, GITAM deemed to be University, Hyderabad is going to organise a two -day Faculty Development Program on ‘Current Methods and Approaches in the Teaching of English Language and Literature’ at its campus on April 2 and 3. It will be organised in association with ELT@I (English Language Teachers’ Association of India) Medak Chapter

The objectives of the FDP is to understand the interface between language and literature, critical theories and techniques, to acquire insights, develop a literary sense of appreciation, experience new thoughts,

encourage open dialogue and share cultural nuances and to encourage sharing of different perspectives and interpretations through certain set models, and choose authentic material for effective teaching learning process etc.
UG, PG, B.Ed, M.Ed, teachers, Research Scholars and students of English Literature, Linguistic, ELT and other relevant areas of study can participate.
