MLA D Vinay Bhaskar calls for teamwork in Warangal

Warangal: The all-round development of the city is possible when people's representatives and bureaucrats work together, Warangal West MLA D Vinay Bhaskar said. Reviewing the progress of developmental works being carried in his constituency here on Wednesday, he told the officials of various departments to speed up the works.

"The State government, which is providing Rs 300 crore per annum, is committed for the development of the city. The delay in carrying grounded works is increasing pressure on people's representatives," Vinay said. He directed the officials to submit a report on the progress of works every month. Further he told the officials to acquire land for community hall and Shadikhana.

"The officials need to focus on land encroachments in 44 and 45 Divisions," the MLA said. He told the officials to ensure the construction of 592 double bedroom houses in Ambedkar Nagar by the end of July. He said that the government had so far paid Rs 3.9 crore to the Railways to give clearance for the construction of road over bridge (RoB) near Fathima Nagar. He told the officials to necessitate action to release another Rs 3.8 crore, which is pending to the Railways.

Efforts are also on to acquire land for the RoB at an estimated cost of Rs 5.41 crore, he said. The ongoing work on integrated collectorate complex would be completed by October 31, Vinay said.
