2 houses gutted in fire - Mahabubabad
Mahabubabad: Two houses were reduced to ashes in fire following an LPG cylinder blast at Gurthuru village under Thorrur mandal on Thursday night.
Fortunately, there was no casualty. The incident occurred in the middle of the night. The owners of the houses, agriculture labourers Burra Babu and Burra Nagababu escaped unhurt as they were sleeping outside.
Despite best efforts of the locals to put off the fire, the furniture and Rs 20,000 cash were gutted in fire. The police registered a case.
