Convenor of TS ECET-2020 said that all necessary arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the entrance test scheduled to be held in two sessions on July 4.

Hyderabad: Convenor of TS ECET-2020 said that all necessary arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the entrance test scheduled to be held in two sessions on July 4.

In a statement on Saturday, Dr M Manzoor Hussain, Registrar, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) and Covener of TS ECET-2020 said that the examination will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, for the ECE, EIE, CSE and EEE branches. Similarly, from 3 pm to 6 pm, the test will be conducted for CIV, CHE, MEC, MIN, MET, PHM and BSM, he added.

The test will be conducted at 42 test centres, 38 test centres in Telangana and 4 test centres located in Andhra Pradesh

He said a total of 27,993 candidates have applied and hall tickets were generated for all of them. As on June 27, a total of 22,864 have downloaded their hall tickets, he said.

Also, ahead of the examination awareness sessions have been conducted for the candidates from the rural areas on the procedures to be followed during the CBT mode examination. That apart, they were also provided mock tests for practice, he said.

Further, the candidates are asked to visit their test centres a day ahead of the test to identify the address of the test centre given in the hall ticket and the tour to reach the same in time. Also, the Chief Superintendent sand observers are briefed on the procedures to be followed at the test centres for the smooth conduct of the examination, he said.
