Accuses the saffron party of suppressing the voices of Opposition with Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate raids.

Suryapet: The State secretary of Communist Party of India, Chada Venkat Reddy, stated that BJP-led Central government has been ruling the country with fascist policies.

Addressing the media in Suryapet on Thursday, Chada fired salvos on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central government for suppressing the voices of opposition with Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate raids and alleged that the banking system in the country completely collapsed under the BJP government.

"In hunger for power, saffron party is encouraging party defections," he accused. The CPI leader blamed the saffron party for the present political uncertainty in Karnataka and raised his objections over inviting 10 other party MLAs into party undemocratically.

"Corporate companies are made powerful under BJP ruling," he stated.

Criticising the State government for ignoring people's welfare and paying more attention to construction of new buildings for Secretariat and Assembly, Chada said the division of municipal wards was done unethically and was made in favor of ruling government.

Party State leader Palla Venkat Reddy, district secretary Ganna Chandra Shekar and local leaders attended the press meet.
