A man was arrested on Friday for filming a woman bathing here at Hayathnagar in the city.
According to the police, the accused Venkatesh (22), an engineering student was caught by her woman's family member after she raised alarm on finding the mobile phone on the bathroom window at her house in Munaganur village of Turkayanjal mandal.
Locals and family members thrashed him black and blue and handed over him to police.
In February 2019, an IIT student was held in Mumbai for allegedly filming people bathing. He has been charged under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code.
