Hyderabad: Telangana High Court on Tuesday heard a petition filed for the conduct of Municipal elections in the State.
The court after hearing the Additional Advocate General representing the government at length, directed the government to ensure the division of wards and requisite reservation to the eligible communities in 119 days and conduct elections within a month after the completion of the division and reservation exercise.
The court posted the matter to six weeks for further hearing.
