Cleanliness key to prevent diseases: Medical officer

Yalal: Medical Officer Maria Afreen said everyone should maintain their surroundings neat and clean. She, along with the medical staff, removed the weeds at Primary Health Centre on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, she said cleanliness is important for preventing diseases. Take care to prevent water stagnation and flowing of sewerage water around the living areas, so that breeding of mosquitoes can be avoided, she said.

Community health officer Chandrasekhar, ANMs Sujatha, Lakshmi, Kavitha, Roja, Punyavathi and Asha workers in the mandal were also present on the occasion.
