Kollapur MLA Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy has come to the rescue of a local reporter in Kollapur and handed over a Letter of Consent for the sanction of Rs 50,000 from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the ailing scribe at a programme organised at Kalwkurthy Lift Irrigation Guest House in Kollapur on Tuesday.

Nagarkurnool: Kollapur MLA Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy has come to the rescue of a local reporter in Kollapur and handed over a Letter of Consent for the sanction of Rs 50,000 from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to the ailing scribe at a programme organised at Kalwkurthy Lift Irrigation Guest House in Kollapur on Tuesday.

According to sources, Tirupati Nayak of Ganyanayak Thanda in Kadirepadu village of Kodair mandal has been working as a local reporter for a daily and has been undergoing treatment at a hospital. With his financial condition very poor and unable to pay the hospital bills, he had approached the MLA for help. The Kollapur MLA, in this regard, handed over a Letter of Consent sanctioning Rs 50,000 towards his hospital expenses from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

The MLA handed over the LOC to Laxmi, wife of Tirupati, who thanked the MLA for his kind help. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that State government was always coming forward to rescue the poor and the ailing and during emergency, it has been extending financial aid.
