CMRS inspects Ameerpet Metro Station mishap site

The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS), Ministry of Civil Aviation J K Garg on Tuesday started the statutory enquiry into the accident that took place at Ameerpet station of Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS), Ministry of Civil Aviation J K Garg on Tuesday started the statutory enquiry into the accident that took place at Ameerpet station of Hyderabad.
In the incident, one K Mounika died after a chuck of concrete fell on her at Ameerpet Metro Station. J K Garg inspected the accident site at Ameerpet station along with HMRL MD NVS Reddy, Deputy CMRS Ram Meher, and engineers concerned of HMRL and L&TMRHL.
He said further inspections will be done in due course and the required engineering tests will be done under the supervision of IIT, Hyderabad.
They said public hearing will be held by CMRS at Metro Rail Bhavan on October 3.
