Calls for handholding affiliated colleges to improve quality education

Hyderabad: Telangana Governor and Chancellor of the universities, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, asked the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) to rope in its alumni to extend their support to the younger generation coming from their alma mater.

Interacting with the functionaries of the university through video conference from Raj Bhavan on Friday, on the occasion of the World Environment Day, she asked the university to handhold the affiliated colleges for improvement in quality education and for increasing employment opportunities to the students.

Motivatingthe university authorities she said, "the Covid pandemic cannot demoralize us," and asked them to be optimistic and see opportunity in every difficulty.

During the interaction, the Registrar, JNTUH briefed the Chancellor by presenting a PPT on the academic and administrative activities and various other initiatives of the university.
