In the view of the Mahashivaratri festival, the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation has launched the helicopter services to Vemulawada for the devotees colluding with the state aviation corporation. Minister Srinivas Goud launched the services formally.

Devotees planning to visit Sri Raja Rajeshwari temple in Vemulawada on the festival can avail of the services from Begumpet airport from February 19 to February 23. The services are available in three packages.

In the package -1, devotees can travel from Vemulawada to the viewpoint. The seven-minute ride has the ticket price of Rs 3,000. In the package-2, devotees can have an aerial view of Vemulawada and mid-manair at a price of Rs 5,500. Six persons can travel in the package and is a 16-minute ride. And the package-3 is for the devotees travelling from Hyderabad to Vemulawada and in return to Hyderabad. The ticket price is Rs 30,000 for five persons.

Minister Srinivas Goud said that the services were launched on the directions of the minister KT Rama Rao. He also said that the boat services from Mid Manair to Sircilla has also been launched. Besides, the helicopter services, special AC buses have also been deployed from Hyderabad to Vemulawada, the minister added.
