Hyderabad: The Home Minister of Telangana, Md Mahmood Ali on Thursday participated in Haritha Haram progamme held at Goshamahal Police Stadium and planted saplings.

Interacting with the media, he noted, "The credit of converting our State into a green heritage in every village and city goes to the Chief Minister of Telangana as he is aiming towards planting 30 million plants."

He further added, "Nurseries have been set up in almost every village and town. It is a great pleasure for the police to do such greenery programmes in Goshamahal Police Stadium. People need to conquer corona under the present circumstances.

The police department has done a tremendous job during lockdown and it is necessary that each and every citizen should take precautions."

He was assisted by the DGP of Telangana, M Mahender Reddy and Commissioner of Police, Anjani Kumar and other officers.
