Hyderabad: Man booked for biting friend's nose over financial dispute

A case was registered against a man on Wednesday for biting his friend's nose over a financial dispute. The victim, Venugopal Reddy (35), a resident of SR Nagar was admitted to Gandhi Hospital with a nose injury and is undergoing treatment.

Venugopal who owed money to Ramesh called up him at his place and consumed place. The duo entered into a heated argument over the money and Venu pawned Ramesh's bike. Though Ramesh asked to return his bike Venu sought some more time.

Enraged by his behaviour, Ramesh bite off Venugopal's nose. The injury was so severe that a part of the nose came off. He was rushed to Gandhi Hospital.

Based on the complaint filed by Venugopal, the SR Nagar police registered a case and launched a manhunt.
