At 10 am on Saturday, the passenger rush at Metro stations was 78,000 against 42,000 in normal days.

Hyderabad Metro Rail MD NVS Reddy said that almost all stations have been experiencing more commuters.

The crowd is manageable so far and will remain so on Saturday and Sunday. He said that Monday would be a challenge if strike continues.

Additional Special teams and extra personnel will be mobilised for Monday, he added.
