The Central Crime Station (CCS) police of Hyderabad on Saturday booked a case against the admin of an Instagram page ‘Islam Murdabad’
Hyderabad: The Central Crime Station (CCS) police of Hyderabad on Saturday booked a case against the admin of an Instagram page 'Islam Murdabad'.
According to police, the complaint was filed by one Syed Azmath Hussain, president of T S Shia Youth Welfare Association. In his complaint, the complainant alleged that the admin of the page has morphed the photos of Mecca and Madina. Moreover, the admin has also placed a morphed photo of Quran in an insulting manner.
Based on the compliant, we have filed a complaint and have written it to Instagram to de-activate the account and have also started investigation to trace out the admin for disrupting the peace and harmony amongst the communities by posting such derogatory images, said KVM Prasad, ACP of Cybercrime.
