Hyderabad: Unique protest by corporator Tirumal Reddy grabs attention

A local corporator Tirumal Reddy staged a unique protest over inundated roads caused due to heavy downpour for the last two days. Reddy laid down in the rainwater on a road to 'Green Meadow colony' here at Sushma Sai Nagar of Hayath Nagar division.

Fed up with the rainwater, the colony residents brought the matter to the notice of Tirumal Reddy who staged a protest against the officials for being negligent. "Though several complaints raised against several issues, the officials were negligent," said Tirumal Reddy.

Earlier, Reddy protested against potholes by breaking a coconut and offering flowers to the potholes.
