Intruder enters OU women's hostel in Hyderabad, molests inmate

An unidentified man sneaked into engineering women's hostel inside the Osmania University (OU) campus in the early hours of Friday and misbehaved with a girl.
The man scaled a tree behind the hostel building and entered the first floor of the building. Meanwhile, a girl who had gone to washroom heard the intruder's voice and locked up herself in the washroom. But the man who saw the girl threatened her to come out of the washroom with a knife and allegedly misbehaved with her.
However, the girl raised an alarm following which all the other girls in the hostel rushed to the area. Seeing them, the man snatched a phone from a girl and escaped.
The police who inspected the area recovered the phone found in damaged condition near the hostel.
