Karimnagar: Close SRR Fireworks shop, DYFI demands
The district secretary of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), Arla Naga Raju, here on Thursday demanded the government to close the SRR Fireworks shops which are located in the middle of human habitations.

The representatives of the DYFI staged a dharna in front of the Fire station office to take immediate action for the closure of the SRR Fireworks shops here in Peddapalli district.
Speaking on the occasion, Naga Raju alleged that before giving permission, the officials concerned must check where the firework shop was going to be established.
Without checking, the government has given permission to establish a firework shop in the middle of households. Who will be responsible if any untoward incident occurs? he questioned.
"There are no basic facilities and arrangements provided in the SRR firework shop that has been established. The officials must conduct inspection and must take immediate steps either for shifting it or to close it," he demanded.
The members of the Association C Dilip, K Ashok, Ravinder, Mallesh, Prashanth, Devandar and Ramesh were present along with others.
