Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao took a broadside at Lok Satta party leader Jayaprakash Narayan over the latter’s alleged controversial comments on India’s biggest lift irrigation project Kaleshwaram.

"The comments made by Jayaprakash on Kaleshwaram are ridiculous. Neither the Lok Satta leader took part in Telangana movement nor he supported the cause," the Chief Minister said while addressing a press conference in Dharmapuri in Karimangar district on Tuesday.
He alleged that Jayaprakash was speaking on the project with half knowledge and the latter was also jealous of the development taken up under his rule in Telangana.
KCR also fired a salvo at opposition party leaders on politicising the Kaleshwaram project.
