Man held for making, selling adulterated ghee in Chilkalguda
The Central Zone Task Force officials on Thursday conducted a raid on a ghee manufacturing unit located in Chilkalguda and arrested one identified as P N Muthu Naveen (24).
Hyderabad: The Central Zone Task Force officials on Thursday conducted a raid on a ghee manufacturing unit located in Chilkalguda and arrested one identified as P N Muthu Naveen (24).
The police seized 360 litres of adulterated ghee in 24 tins, 40 litres of adulterated ghee in packets, one packing machine, one sealing machine and other materials from the possession of the accused.
The accused was allegedly indulging in preparation and sale of adulterated ghee by mixing oil and dalda. The sold the same in the market as 100 per cent pure ghee.
The accused was manufacturing adulterated ghee at his residence for the last one year and selling it to the general stores as 100 per cent pure ghee.
On credible information, the officials apprehended him and later along with the seized material he was handed over to Chilkalguda Police for further action.
