Midday meals in every government college in Sirpur constituency: MLA Koneru Konappa
Sirpur MLA Koneru Konappa under Koneru Trust had launched midday meals at Government Junior College in Sirpur constituency on Monday.
Mancherial: Sirpur MLA Koneru Konappa under Koneru Trust had launched midday meals at Government Junior College in Sirpur constituency on Monday.
Free midday meals will be provided to the students of every Government Junior and Degree Colleges in the constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that several students will come from far off villages to the Government Junior Colleges and degree colleges and most of them couldn't bring lunch box. Due to this, they have to remain hungry till the end of the college, hence we launched this programme to provide lunch to every student, he stated.
Konappa asked the students to study well to bring good name to their parents, teachers and their district. later, the MLA had lunch with college students.
Asifabad MLA Atram Sakku, District Collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanmanthu, Superintendent of Police Malla Reddy and Sirpur Paper Mills representatives, Koneru Charitable Trust Chairman Koneru Vamshi, Ramadevi and others were present.
