Muslim couple felicitated for supporting Ganesh festival
A Ganesh Utsav Committee felicitated a Muslim couple for supporting Ganesh festival here at Manuguru in Ashok Nagar on Saturday.
Manuguru( Kothagudem) : A Ganesh Utsav Committee felicitated a Muslim couple for supporting Ganesh festival here at Manuguru in Ashok Nagar on Saturday. The committee members presented a shawl to the Muslim couple SK Pasha and his wife Kouser who have been supporting the Hindu festivals and giving good service for many years particularly in the Ganesh festival programmes.
Addressing on the occasion, the Committee member Yerram Raju Behra said the Muslim couple who have been living in Manuguru giving the donations to the Hindu temples and encouraging the Hindu festivals.
This year also, the family donated money and vegetables for the Annadanam programme here in the Ganesh festival. He lauded the services of them in the programme. The committee members B.Venkateswalu, Mallikarjun Rao, Madhu, Karthik, Srikanth, Jithender and Sudarshan attended the programme.
