Nagarjunasagar: The officials of Nagarjunasagar withdrew their decision of opening project crest gates on Thursday morning due to fluctuations in water inflows from Srisailam dam since Wednesday midnight.
According to official sources, the inflows into Sagar dam from upstream was recorded as 1,16,742 cusecs, whereas 33,742 cusecs of water has been released into downstream through various canals on left and right sides and through main pumphouse.
The present water level in Sagar is 310.84 tmcft at 589.60 feet against Full Tank Level of 312.04 tmcft at 590 feet.
