Mancherial: BJP district president Krishnamurthy faulted Mancherial MLA Nadipelli Diwakar Rao for making false statements that he (the MLA) had provided irrigation water to the farmers in Hajipur mandal.
Addressing a press meet in Hajipur mandal in Mancherial district on Wednesday, Krishnamurty said Diwakar Rao has been elected as MLA four times but failed to provide water to farmers. Warning that people have been watching, the BJP leader had demanded the MLA to prove his statements.
Kisan Morcha district general secretary Polishetty Tirupathi, mandal convenor Golla Mallikarjun, party leaders Sirikonda Damodar, Maru Venkata Reddy, Raja Narsu, Hanumandlu, Srinivas and others were present.
