Hyderabad: Congress MP from Malkajgiri A Revanth Reddy on Friday sarcastically said that the State government could make it to the Guinness Book of World Records for its negligence.

He wrote an open letter to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao urging him to immediately issue appointment letters to TRT qualified candidates.

In his letter, Revanth Reddy said he saw hundreds of job aspirants holding placards and protesting near Pragathi Bhavan demanding issuance of appointment letters to them.

The MP said when he spoke to the aspirants, they told him that they were qualified in the TRT examination held in the year 2017 but even after two years they did not get appointment orders.

Stating that the State government had issued TRT notification to fill 600 teacher posts, Revanth Reddy told the Chief Minister that non-issuance of appointment letters to the job aspirants was a classic example of government's criminal negligence towards the education sector.
