Getting into details, the accused Jayal Chand (27) used to visit his colleague's house who was staying with her sister in an apartment at Eshwar villas road in Nizampet.
On Saturday, Chand visited her home and learned that she was alone. Taking advantage of the situation, Chand raped the woman and fled the scene. When the woman's sister returned home, she noticed her sister lying unconscious and shifted her to a hospital.
The police also registered a case after the victim's sister lodged a complaint against the accused. A manhunt was launched by the police to nab him.
