The Uttara Dwara Darshan,an auspicious event for which devotees seek blessings for happiness, health, wealth and peace, was provided to devotees at Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam on Friday, on Mukkoti Ekadasi festival.

Bhadrachalam: The Uttara Dwara Darshan,an auspicious event for which devotees seek blessings for happiness, health, wealth and peace, was provided to devotees at Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam on Friday, on Mukkoti Ekadasi festival.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the temple officers had allowed only VIPs, officers and public representatives for the event.

Uttara Dwaram beautifully decorated with various flowers was opened at 5 am on Friday amidst the chanting of mantras and Vedic hymns. It was opened for one hour only and was closed at 6 am.

Before allowing people to go through Uttara Dwaram, priests explained the importance of this darshan and details of this auspicious day.

Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathode, Mahabubabad MP M Kavitha, MLAs P Veeraiah, K Upender Reddy, Ramulu Naik, Shanker Naik, MLC B Lakshmi Narayana, Integrated Tribal Development Agency Project Officer P Goutham and other officers attended the programme.

Rapathu celebrations were organised in the temple premises following Covid norms, temple EO M Sivaji informed.
