Warangal/Bhupalpally: A 24-year-old pregnant woman, who was tested positive for the swine flu a couple of days ago was rushed to Hyderabad. The woman is identified as Md Shainaz of Bizgir Sharif, near Jammikunta, in Karimnagar district.

The woman who went to her parents' home in Bhupalpally for delivery started to suffer from fever and breathing problem. After Shainaz was treated for about a week in the coal town, she was shifted to a private hospital in Warangal.

The doctors who found Shainaz positive for swine flu referred the case to Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. Shainaz is being treated in Hyderabad, it's learnt. Meanwhile, DM&HO Dr N Gopal Rao has set up a medical camp near Shainaz's parents' residence and conducted tests to the residents.

Dr Rao said that they have created awareness among the locals about the swine flu and its symptoms. MGM Hospital Superintendent B Srinivas Rao has said that they have not identified anyone suffering from swine flu.
