Mahbubnagar: Congress party's Hath-se-Hath Jodo preparatory meet was held at the District Congress Committee party office in Mahbubnagar on Friday.
Women's Congress president Sunita Rao, along with DCC president G. Madhusudhan Reddy took part as chief guest and released Hath-se-Hath Jodo Yatra phamplets and door stickers on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Congress Women's president and other Congress senior leaders and G Madhusudhan Reddy called upon the Congress women activists and other women folks to take part in large number in the Hath se Hath Jodo Yatra and tell the people about the failures of the State and Central governments and at the same time explain about the plans and initiatives taken up by the Congress for the people.
GMR also gave a call to the women folks that they should also take the message of Rahul Gandhi to build a peaceful and secular nation, spreading love and brotherhood among all the communities in the country.
TPCC general secretary Vinod, Sanjeeve Mudiraj, DCC publicity secretary, Beenahar, town Congress president Laxman Yadav, senior Congress leaders Siraj Khadri and others took part in the programme.
