Visakha Rasagna Vedika plans to felicitate Gollapudi Maruti Rao

Visakhapatnam: Visakha Rasagna Vedika plans to celebrate 80th birthday of theatre personality and Telugu film actor Gollapudi Maruti Rao on Sunday at AMCOSA function hall. A host of cultural programmes under the banner 'Sahiti Maruteeyam' will be held at the venue from 9:30 am.

As the celebrations also coincide with Sri Rama Navami festival, students of Hidden Sprouts Special School will take part in the presentation of 'Dasavataram'. At a press conference held here on Friday, president of Visakha Rasagna Vedika G Raghurama Rao said lectures and book release function will mark 'Sayamkalamayindi' which is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm.
