Ayodhya Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan Live Updates: Auspicious moment at 12:44:08 pm, when the brick will be laid by PM Modi

I express gratitude to all citizens of this nation, Indian diaspora across the world and all the devotees of Lord Ram on today's pious occasion: PM Modi 

Today marks the end of ages of wait, PM Modi says 

We'd taken a resolution. I remember the then RSS chief Balasaheb Deoras telling us that we'll have to struggle for 20-30 yrs, only then will this be fulfilled. We struggled for 30 years & in the 30th year, we've attained the joy of fulfilling our resolution: RSS Chief. 

Poore desh mein aaj anand ki lehar hai. Sadiyon ki aas poore hone ka anand hai. Sabse bada anand hai Bharat ko atmanirbhar banane ke liye jis atma vishwas ki awashikta thi uska sagun-saakaar adhishthan aaj ho raha hai: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat at Ayodhya 

So many people had sacrificed, they couldn't be here physically. There are some who couldn't come here, Advani ji must be at his home watching this. There are some who should've come but couldn't be invited because of the situation (COVID-19): Mohan Bhagwat, RSS Chief.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has finished the bhoomi pujan rituals and has now taken the stage with Yogi Adityanath, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and others being present on the stage.

After the first round of prayers and rituals, Prime Minister Modi, who is leading the prayers, will now be laying a silver brick to mark the foundation of the Ram Mandir that will constructed at the Ram Janmabhoomi Sthal. 

There are 2,75,000 stones with 'Jai Shri Ram' carved on them that have been brought for the bhoomi pujan ceremony. Some of these stones are being used for the rituals of bhoomi pujan or the ground-breaking ceremony that will mark the beginning of the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
