Telangana News: Construction of new Secretariat building is likely to begin around last week of July. The new building will have 8 floors. The construction will be completed in five months.

Telangana News: In view of the demolition of old Secretariat, all the officials working in temporary secretariat have been asked to work from home today.
Telangana News: Demolition work of Secretariat buildings commenced on Tuesday morning. Following the High Court giving green sugnal the demolition work commenced under police protection. The area within one km has been blocked. The decision to start demolition work was kept under wraps till this morning. All roads leading to the Secretariat were closed by the police. The demolition work is closely monitored by DGP Mahender Reddy and chief secretary Somesh Kumar.
