55 municipal teachers get promotions in Eluru

Eluru: As many as 55 teachers working in municipal corporation schools have been promoted. The corporation issued orders to this effect. 

Attenders and mastries who put in several years of service in the corporation were also promoted. The promoted teachers and other employees of the corporation were given orders at mayor chamber here on Thursday.

Out of 55 teachers, two were promoted as head-masters and six were promoted as LFL HMs. Among the promoted are teachers of social studies, mathematics, Telugu, Hindi and Sanskrit subjects. 

A total of 13 corporation employees who has 15 to 20 years of experience were promoted as record assistants and health assistants. Four employees in town planning department also secured promotions.
