Or we consider phones from brands like Xiaomi or Oppo? HIS Market released a new report of the top 10 best-selling smartphones in the world. The report is based on the number of units shipped in the first half-year of 2019.

These are the phones that were sold the most across the world:

1. Apple iPhone XR




 









Apple recently made iPhones 'affordable' and the strategy of lowering its prices (through deals and offers) has worked out in some parts of the world. As per IHS Market report, Apple sold 26.4 million units in the first half of 2019.

2. Samsung Galaxy A10




 









Samsung Galaxy A10 is the second-best- sold. Samsung shipped 13.4 million units of the Galaxy A10.

3. Samsung Galaxy A50




 









On third place is bagged by Samsung Galaxy A50. So far in 2019, Samsung shipped 12 million units of the Galaxy A50.

4. Apple iPhone 8




 









iPhone 8 was launched in 2017, and it continues to be the best-selling smartphone. The report says Apple shipped 10.3 million units.

5. Xiaomi Redmi 6A




 









Xiaomi's Redmi 6A is the fifth best-selling smartphone. It shipped 10 million units in the first two quarters of 2019.

6. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7




 









Xiaomi's Redmi Note 7 stands at the sixth place. Xiaomi shipped 10 million units of this smartphone.

7. Samsung Galaxy J2 Core




 










Samsung's Galaxy J2 Core, on the list, is another budget device. It shipped 9.9 million units of the smartphone.

8. Oppo A5




 










Oppo A5 bags the eighth position in the race.

9. Apple iPhone XS Max




 









Apple shipped 9.6 million units of its most expensive iPhone in the market.

10. Samsung Galaxy A30




 









Samsung Galaxy A30 is the 10th best-selling smartphone in the world. The South Korean company shipped 9.2 million units of the smartphone.
