Civil Supplies Department gives farewell to Akun Sabharwal

Hyderabad: Akun Sabharwal, who has been the Civil Supplies Commissioner for nearly 17 months, was given a farewell by the department officials on Wednesday. Chairman M Srinivas Reddy, Ashwini Kumar, General Manager, FCI, District Joint Collectors, DCSOs, DMOs and other employees of the Civil Supplies department participated in the farewell ceremony.

Chairman Srinivas Reddy said, "Akun Sabarwal as the Commissioner of Civil Supplies has done great job and brought a good reputation to the department nationwide. There is a record level in paddy grains procurement without any trouble to the farmers in State."

Commissioner Akun Sabarwal said the 17 months of work have been very satisfying. He also asked his department staff to support the successor in the same way in order to maintain the good reputation of the district.
