Workshop on Research Methodology inaugurated at MANUU

Hyderabad: The UGC - Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is organizing a week-long workshop in Research Methodology. The inaugural was held on 19th August.

Forty-two participants of Social Sciences from various Degree Colleges/Universities of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Karnataka are attending the Workshop.

The Chief Guest, Prof. Aseem Prakash, Center of Public Policy, Tata Institute of Social Sciences( TISS), in his inaugural address emphasized the importance & relevance of Research. He highlighted the importance of values and facts in Research and had said that data collection and data interpretation both are challenging. He correlates several theories like Utilitarianism, Consequentialism and deontological with research.

Dr. M.A. Sikandar, Registrar & I/c Director in his address shared his own research experience with the participants. Dr. Tahseen Bilgrami, Deputy Director of HRDC welcomed the gathering.

Dr. Ishtiyaq Ahmad, Assistant Director proposed a vote of thanks.
