20 injured after bus overturns in Annamayya district

In a minor road accident, APSRTC bus overturned in the district of Annamayya after a tyre burst. The incident happened close to Vithalam in Valmikipuram Mandal where twenty passengers were injured in the incident.

According to police, a non-stop bus that belonged to the Madanapalle RTC depot and which had started its journey for Tirupati. While the bus was travelling on the Madanapalle-Tirupati road near Vithalam, it faced a tyre burst, swayed into the culvert nearby, and got overturned.

The injured passengers were sent to the Valmikipuram Government Hospital and then after giving them first aid, they were sent to the Madanapalle District Government Hospital.
