AP minister Ramprasad Reddy issues directions to APSRTC, asks to be vigilant amid rains

Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy alerted officials regarding the rains in Andhra Pradesh caused by the severe depression formed in the Bay of Bengal. He directed RTC and transport personnel in the North Andhra districts to remain prepared for immediate action in case of emergencies.

Preparations were done to make use of proactive measures in transport safety during this period of heavy rains. He instructed that measures be taken in order to ensure that people are not inconvenienced by the rain and stressed the importance of constant vigilance and increased manpower to avoid any accidents in low lying areas and ghats.

The Minister appealed to the RTC administration to be vigilant owing to the considerable effect of the depression in North Andhra. He directed senior officials from the RTC and Transport Departments to continuously monitor the rainfall situation from Amaravati. Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy instructed officials to work in coordination in rain-affected areas, prioritizing public safety above all else.
