Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thurs said that President Droupadi Murmu’s life is an inspiration to girls and womenfolk, addressing the gathering here after the President laid the foundation stone for the National SARAS Mela.
“I feel that she has demonstrated through her life that a woman can achieve anything by her will power. It is Nari Shakti that makes the New India and Viksit Bharat dream come true,” he said.
The Chief Minister said that the SARAS Mela should not be a one-day show and expressed hope that it would be developed as a permanent marketplace to provide a platform for boosting rural women’s income and promoting business.
“We need to give more opportunities to set up business enterprises and take them to global markets as brands. The self-help groups need to become business groups and then global brands,” he added.
