Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said the 600MW SAEL solar plant in Kurnool district is now operational.
In a post on X, he said the project spans 2,400 acres and that electricity generated at the plant is being supplied from Andhra Pradesh to other states. He described it as evidence that Andhra Pradesh is once again emerging as a major force in the clean energy sector.
Naidu said the project had been completed as promised, reiterating the motto: “We promised, and we are delivering” (#CheppaamChestunnaam).
