Uravakonda: The 9th National Nutrition Month awareness programme was held at the Lattavaram Tanda Anganwadi centre on Saturday.
Uravakonda CDPO Dr BN Sridevi and MPDO Ravikumar stressed the importance of nutrient-rich diets for mothers and children.
Highlighting the theme “Diversity – Nutrition in Every Bite,” officials showcased local grains, vegetables, and leafy greens while distributing nutrition pledges to attendees.
Authorities also reviewed weekly menu charts and inspected supplementary nutrition services. Local leaders, ICDS supervisors, Anganwadi workers, and tribal residents participated in the successful community outreach event.
