The government of Andhra Pradesh has given green signal for the reopening of the government offices in view of exemptions issued over lockdown. The government has ordered all employees to attend the futures without fail from Thursday onwards at all zones. However, the government has given exemptions to the employees belonging to containment zones who are pregnant, elderly and those with other diseases to work from home. While the government has also suggested that employees must comply with certain regulations issued by the government.

Going by the guidelines issued by the government, thermal screening should be done over the premises of government offices and are sanitized on daily basis. Also, it has asked the employees to wear masks in the office premises and should follow the physical distance of six feet.

It has made clear that the physical meetings be reduced and go for telephone and video conferences. The employees are advised to be in the Home Quarantine if they experience fever-like symptoms while on duty and visitors are strictly not allowed into the offices. All employees must comply with the orders issued by the state government from time to time as part of coronavirus control. District Collectors and Heads of all Government Offices shall take action in accordance with this directive.

Meanwhile, the state has recorded 57 new cases on Tuesday taking the tally to 2339/with more than 1500 recovered cases and 52 fatalities.
