Minister DSBV Swamy distributing CMRF cheque to a beneficiary at Turpu Nayudupalem on Sunday
Kondapi: Social Welfare Minister Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy distributed Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques and Letters of Credit (LOC) to 359 beneficiaries of Kondapi constituency at his camp office in Turpu Naidupalem on Sunday.
Speaking at the programme, the minister said that the government sanctioned about Rs 1.9 crore on September 17 for the Kondapi constituency. He informed that 21 beneficiaries received LOCs for emergency treatment and 338 beneficiaries received CMRF cheques.
He said that since the coalition government came to power, 2560 poor patients in the constituency have received free medical aid worth Rs 19.98 crore. Of these, 324 received LOCs for emergency hospital treatment and 2236 received financial support through cheques. The minister explained the government’s Sanjeevani project, under which every citizen gets an ABHA digital health ID for predictive, preventive and curative healthcare.
He said that the project provides free lab tests at home, quality medicines through e-Aushadhi, and tele-consultation with specialist doctors. He observed that CM Chandrababu Naidu is implementing the P4 model of Public, Private, People Partnership to end poverty in the state.
