Kuppam: A headof Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s two-day visit to Kuppam constituency on Monday and Tuesday, senior district officials inspected the locations and reviewed security and other arrangements on Sunday as part of the Advanced Security Liaison (ASL).
District Collector Sumit Kumar, SP Tushar Dudi, MLC Kancherla Srikanth, APSRTC Vice Chairman PS Muniratnam, Chief Minister’s tour liaison officer P Venkatesh, Joint Collector Adarsh Rajendran and others inspected the venues.
During his two-day visit, the Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate several development works in Kuppam Municipality. Works worth Rs 289.5 crore will be inaugurated, while foundation stones will be laid for works estimated at Rs 38.5 crore. The Chief Minister will also watch a video showcasing the achievements of ‘Swarna Kuppam’ and interact with beneficiaries. He will address a public meeting at Kothapeta in Kuppam. He is also scheduled to visit the ‘Swarna Kuppam’ achievements gallery and hold a meeting with representatives of Hindalco. A review of national highway projects is also planned.
District Collector Sumit Kumar directed the officials to make strong barricading arrangements at the Jala Harathi venue, public meeting venue and other locations where the Chief Minister will participate in programmes. He also instructed officials to ensure adequate security arrangements at the railway station.
SP Tushar Dudi directed the officials to implement security arrangements to the highest standards during the Chief Minister’s visit.
He also stressed the need for proper traffic management and advance measures to ensure that the public does not face inconvenience.
All departments should strictly follow the instructions issued by the security wing and work in coordination with one another. PKM-UDA Chairman Suresh Babu, district officials from various departments, police officials and railway officials from the South Eastern Zone, Bengaluru were also present.
