Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has said a new era in housing has begun in the state, following the foundation-laying ceremony for three lakh homes under PMAY-G 2.0 in Burripalem, Guntur district.

In a post on X, Kalyan described the project as an important step towards the goal of “Housing for All”. He highlighted a pilot scheme using 3D concrete printing, which he said is the first of its kind in India for rural housing.

A total of 177 homes will be built using the technology in Burripalem and Obulanayudupalem. Kalyan said each house could be completed in just 10 days, with the method expected to improve quality and efficiency while reducing construction waste.

He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and commitment to providing dignified housing for every family. Kalyan also thanked Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for supporting Andhra Pradesh and encouraging innovation in rural housing.

The state’s alliance government is accelerating housing construction and using technology to expand its reach, while seeking to maintain quality and speed, Kalyan said. He thanked Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for supporting the programmes.

Kalyan said the initiative would provide a home for every family, bring modern technology into construction and establish a strong foundation for rural development in Andhra Pradesh.
