Eluru: The police, as part of measures to control spread of Covid-19 have been shifting persons wandering in streets without mask to quarantine centres in special vehicles.
As per directions of Superintendent of Police Navdeep Singh Grewal, the Corona Awareness Team created awareness among people on the virus at busy market places in the city on Friday. The team represented by Eluru DSP Dilip Kiran, CI Adi Prasad and Traffic SI Rambabu explained various measures to be taken to contain spread of the virus. In this process, they shifted to quarantine centre the persons not wearing mask and moving in busy places.
