School bus overturns after colliding bike in Eluru, one killed several injured

A ghastly accident occurred near Vadlamanu in Agiripalli Mandal of Eluru district where a school bus overturned after colliding with a two-wheeler leaving thirty students injured, and one person died in the incident.

According to the details, the bus, traveling from Agiripalli to Nuzvid, tried to overtake an auto-rickshaw and collided with an oncoming two-wheeler. The bus plunged into a nearby canal and overturned. One of the two individuals on the two-wheeler died on the spot, while the other is in critical condition.

The locals rushed to the scene and safely rescued the students. Thirty children sustained injuries and were urgently shifted to the Nuzvid Government Hospital.

Upon receiving the information, the police arrived and transported the other critically injured person to the hospital for treatment. The body of the deceased was sent to the government hospital for a post-mortem examination. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.

Motorists attribute the accident to the school bus speeding. There was a collective sense of relief as the students escaped with only minor injuries. Doctors stated that the students would receive first aid, remain under observation until the afternoon, and then be sent home. However, the death of the person on the two-wheeler cast a pall of gloom.
