Second phase YSR Kanti Velugu begins from 1st November in Kadapa
The district administration is gearing efforts for conducting the second phase of YSR Kanti Velugu from 1st November to December 31st in the district.
Kadapa: The district administration is gearing efforts for conducting the second phase of YSR Kanti Velugu from 1st November to December 31st in the district. As many as 30,873 students are proposed to conduct secondary eye tests during the 60-day event. Apart from 12,435 from Kadapa, 8,578 from Rajampet, 9,860 from Jammalamadugu divisions. About 30 Kanti Velugu testing teams were deployed for successful conduction of the programme.
District Collector CH. Harikiran who conducted review meeting here on Tuesday directed the officials following directions of the government eye tests were conducted for 4.12lakh students across the district in the first phase. He said that the district administration has taken all initiatives by deploying one Opthamalagist, Health Supervisor, Asha worker during the tests. The Collector has stressed the need for coordination between Medical &Health, Education departments for the success of the programme.
