District Collector S Sathyanarayana has directed Medical and Health officers to speed up YSR Kanti Velugu scheme by completing the preliminary screening of eye patients on a fast track basis.
Anantapur: District Collector S Sathyanarayana has directed Medical and Health officers to speed up YSR Kanti Velugu scheme by completing the preliminary screening of eye patients on a fast track basis.
Reviewing the scheme implementation along with Sarva Siksha Abhiyan Project Officer Ramachandra Reddy at Shirdi Sai High School in Battalapalle mandal in the district on Thursday, the Collector instructed the PO to cover all the students in the school under the scheme.
Sathyanarayana checked some of the lists maintained by schools on the number of children covered and the remaining children yet to be covered. The Collector also advised teachers to adopt simple teaching techniques and explain lessons in easy manner. He also interacted with students and enquired from them whether they are happy or not with the teaching style.
